Autoclavable Stainless Steel Knives are used with the Fritsch Knife Mill to grind sample material. Knives are fitted with four blades, and standard or sickle knives are available. Standard knives can be used with nearly all materials, and sickle knives are recommended for brittle, hard samples.
FTA-480 standard knife can be used to grind nearly all materials.
FTA-481 sickle knife is ideal for brittle, hard samples.
FTA-482 sickle knife has serrated blades and is ideal for especially fibrous, tough, or muscular materials such as fish, meat, asparagus, or bamboo.
FTA-483 sickle knife is specially designed for glass grinding vessels and is ideal for brittle, hard samples.
