ASSOCIATION HONORS JIM BIBLER FOR BOARD SERVICE

Jim Bibler was recognized by the Ohio Aggregates & Industrial Minerals Association (OAIMA) for his service on the OAIMA Board of Directors. The award was presented to Mr. Bibler recently at OAIMA’s 2024 Annual Meeting and Trade Show.

OAIMA Executive Director, Pat Jacomet stated, “Jim has been an invaluable member of our Board for the past three years. Jim’s representation as an Associate Director has led to many positive changes and allowed us to expand our services for our valuable Associate members. Jim is also a wonderful representative of our association and our members through his active involvement at the state and national level. We are grateful for Jim’s service to OAIMA.”

With over 250 members statewide, the Ohio Aggregates and Industrial Minerals Association represents all the state’s mining operations, except coal along with companies that supply goods and services to those operations. These commodities valued at over $1.6 billion, include mostly construction materials, both natural and manmade, such as aggregates (sand, gravel, slag, crushed limestone, dolomite, and sandstone), salt, clay, shale, gypsum, industrial sand, building stone, lime, cement, and recycled concrete.
