Mechanical Balances and Scales

Gilson offers a full line of Ohaus precision mechanical balances for accurate and reliable weighing. All except the Field Scale have a self-aligning beam which eliminates the need for level adjustments and has magnetic damping for minimizing oscillation and allows fast weighing. The balances have easy-to-read etched deep-notched beams and dial plates. They have a durable aluminum metal construction and include stainless steel weighing pan. The Heavy-duty Solution Balance is epoxy powder coated that resists common acids. The Ohaus Field Test Scale is constructed of a heavy-duty cast metal frame and pan optimal for field use. The Field Scale can be converted between metric and imperial weighing systems by purchasing optional weight sets.
