Gilson’s Marshall Compactors are durable and efficient with enhanced safety features for providing consistent, secure operation and producing accurate, reliable Marshall test specimens.

These compactors are user friendly and utilize a stationary or rotating base to test 4in or 6in specimens.

• 4in (101.6mm) dia. specimens are suitable for mixes containing aggregates up to 1in (25.4mm)
• 6in (152.4mm) dia. specimens are used for aggregate sizes up to 1-1/2in (38.1mm)

Choose the Right Operation for Your Testing Needs

• Manual models use a hand-operated drop hammer on a guide rod to compact samples
• Automatic models use an electric motor to raise and drop the hammer automatically, and feature a hammer-blow counter that turns the unit off following compaction
