The Electronic Temperature Device (EDT-300) precisely regulates specimen temperature for asphalt bitumen samples. The device includes built-in sensors and controls to regulate sample temperatures from 25 to 300°C (77 to 572°F) at an accuracy of ±0.1°C (0.2°F). The EDT must be equipped with the LP-84 Viscometer to meet the requirements of ASTM D4402/AASHTO T 316 for asphalt binder testing.
One Stainless Steel AISI 316L Chambers and Five Aluminum Disposable Chambers are included. Additional chambers can be purchased to improve the throughput and sample testing efficiency.
