Marshall Compactors, Automatic, 4in Mold

Marshall Compactor, Automatic, 4in Mold compacts asphalt samples in a stationary 4in (102mm) mold with an automatic counter controlling the specified number of blows per minute. Operation stops at completion. The unit includes an ASTM-compliant oak pedestal with steel plate, a 10lb (4.5kg) flat-face hammer, a package of Paper Discs, and an MSA-100 Stationary Marshall Compaction Mold Assembly.

MS-1 models meet ASTM D6926 with 64 blows per minute.

MS-1B models operate at 55 blows per minute.
