Crushing Jaws are used with the Fritsch Jaw Crusher to crush and grind materials. Final fineness of 1–15mm can be determined by adjusting the 10-stage gap width between the crushing jaws. The Jaw Crusher is equipped with fixed and movable crushing jaws and lateral support walls made of hardened steel, but fixed and movable jaws are available in six different materials to avoid contamination caused by material abrasion. The service life of the crushing jaws can be doubled by simply turning the jaws around.
FTA-101 and FTA-111 fixed and movable jaws are made of hardened steel, which has good abrasion resistance and is suitable for brittle, hard samples.
FTA-102 and FTA-112 fixed and movable jaws are made of stainless steel, which has fairly good abrasion resistance and is suitable for medium-hard, brittle samples.
FTA-103 and FTA-113 fixed and movable jaws are made of chromium-free tool steel, which has good abrasion resistance and is suitable for medium-hard samples or RoHS samples.
FTA-104 and FTA-114 fixed and movable jaws are made of manganese steel, which has good abrasion resistance and is suitable for hard, brittle samples.
FTA-105 and FTA-115 fixed and movable jaws are made of hardmetal tungsten carbide, which has very good abrasion resistance and is suitable for very hard, abrasive samples.
FTA-106 and FTA-116 fixed and movable jaws are made of zirconium oxide, which has good abrasion resistance and is suitable for medium-hard, brittle samples or metal-free grinding.
