Gilson Guardian is the ultimate addition to any Gilson Automatic Compression Machine and enables field samples to be tracked from casting through test completion.
This advanced construction materials testing application facilitates easy compilation of project information and allows the creation of comprehensive reports. Project and sample information is easily shared with team members, stakeholders, and local regulatory authorities alike, establishing a seamless line of communication and giving administrators the ability to designate project responsibilities. The application also retains a detailed project and sample history, which serves as a resource for future reference needs.
When making a test specimen, field technicians input placement data, including project numbers, dates, on-site conditions, sample descriptions, supplier information, and concrete mix details. The application safeguards information within the mobile app. Even if cellular connectivity is disrupted, data will be accessible once the connection is reestablished.
QR Codes Capabilities to Track Concrete Samples
For accuracy in location tracking, the GPS Coordinate feature precisely marks the geographic placement of test specimens in the field, improving retrieval of the specimens after initial curing. After the specimens are delivered to the laboratory for lab testing, the optional ACA-700 QR Code Scanner and Label Printer Kit enables the printing and affixing of unique QR codes to each specimen. A Roll of Labels and Printer Ribbon ink are required to create the QR codes and are purchased separately.
Scanning the QR code will recall the data input into the mobile application during the casting process. This information will be instantly displayed on the human machine interface (HMI) screen prior to conducting strength tests.
In cases where QR codes are not preferred, the application equips technicians with access to the “Manage Specimen” section on the compression machine HMI, where specification information is entered prior to breaking the specimens.
Fewer Testing Errors, More Accurate Results
Within this environment, an array of smart checks operates in the background, and irregularities or deviations in specimen or test data are flagged, preempting potential errors before tests are initiated.
Upon completion of testing the samples in the compression machine, an automatic pop-up displays a summary of strength results, providing technicians with feedback for the set of specimens. Deviations of a significant nature are highlighted in red, signifying anomalies that warrant attention.
The preload settings are automatically configured based on the sample’s age, anticipated strength, and previous results from companion samples of the set. This dynamic preload adjustment expedites testing procedures, upholds the integrity of the testing and inspection processes, and ensures data accuracy and reliability.
A Variety of Subscription Options
With a Gilson Guardian subscription, you have the power to choose the monthly or annual plan that best aligns with your testing frequency. If the monthly sample limit for any tier is exceeded, a nominal per-test fee can be applied, ensuring customers are charged only for the services utilized and not for a higher tier than necessary.
Essential Plan: Suitable for users who prefer to be billed per test, allowing for flexibility in payment based on usage. Subscribers will pay a monthly or annual subscription fee, plus an additional $0.25 per test. Subscribe to the Essential Monthly or Annual subscription plan.
Professional Plan: Designed for basic users conducting 500 or fewer tests/month, this tier offers a fixed subscription fee for easier budgeting. Subscribe to the Professional Monthly or Annual subscription plan.
Professional Plus Plan: Geared towards busier testing laboratories, this tier accommodates users performing 2,500 tests/month, with the subscription fee scaled accordingly. Subscribe to the Professional Plus Monthly or Annual subscription plan.
Premium Plan: Tailored for regional labs managing multiple offices and handling a substantial test volume (5,000/month), this tier ensures an all-inclusive solution for extensive testing requirements. Subscribe to the Premium Monthly or Annual subscription plan.
