ISO Test Sieve Reverification services assure that your sieves remain compliant with ISO specifications throughout their service life. Sieves can be periodically shipped to our Verification Laboratory and undergo the same process as the Verification of New Sieves. Gilson’s computerized system individually measures a specified number of openings on each test sieve with a NIST traceable optical comparator. A Verification Report is included with the returned sieves to document adherence to Inspection or Calibration Grade ratings. You can find detailed information for packaging and shipping your sieves to us here.
ISO 565/3310-1 Inspection Test Sieve Reverification measures a specific number of mesh openings in each sieve. Verification documents indicate NIST traceable measurements taken and show results of a statistical analysis indicating a 99% confidence level that the standard deviation of openings meets ISO requirements. When documentation and repeatable accuracy are the deciding factors, the best choice is the Inspection Grade Test Sieves.
ISO 565/3310-1 Calibration Test Sieve Reverification has about twice as many openings measured as Inspection Sieves. Accompanying documentation includes opening measurements and results of a statistical analysis confirming a confidence level of 99.73% that the opening’s standard deviation is within the maximum allowed by ISO. For applications requiring a very high degree of accuracy, Calibration Sieves are the best choice.
