4in Asphalt Core Drill Bit (Open-Head)

4in Asphalt Core Drill Bit (Open-Head) is used with electric or gasoline-powered Core Drills to obtain drilled asphalt cores for evaluation and laboratory testing. The bit requires a properly sized Expander Set for Open-Head Asphalt Coring Bits for attachment to the drilling machine. It performs well in high-output, heavy-use applications, and can be refurbished when worn.

Diamond Coring Bits are designed for wet-use with asphalt and are fast-cutting when used as designed. The bit has an overall length of 14.75in (374.65mm) and is capable of coring to a total depth of 12.5in (317.5mm). The final core diameter is approximately 0.25in (6.4mm) smaller than the nominal outside diameter.
