SmartRock Wireless Concrete Sensors provide a versatile solution for monitoring concrete temperature and strength through wireless data recording and real-time strength calculations. These sensors facilitate seamless reporting of maximum and minimum temperatures, as well as temperature differentials. Each sensor records temperatures from both the sensor body and the probe to collect comparative temperature data. Supplied in packages of 10.
Temperatures are continuously monitored, and concrete strengths are calculated in real time, minimizing the need for field-cured cylinders or cubes. Form removal, reshoring, and load application phases are accelerated with greater confidence with the sensor’s reported concrete strength. Concrete strength calculations are synced every 15 minutes using ASTM C1074.
The SmartRock wireless concrete sensors are designed to be fully embedded in fresh concrete within 2in (50mm) of the surface by attaching to the rebar. Start time is initiated when the white temperature probe end is removed from the sensor body. Each sensor is equipped with a fully charged battery designed to last four months after activation. Reading range is -22 to 181°F (-30 to 85°C). Sensor dimensions are 3.125x1.625x1.03in (80x42x26mm), WxDxH.
CT-70 Sensors have a 1ft (0.3m) temperature probe cable and a wireless signal range of up to 40ft (12m). Sold as a package of ten.
CT-71 Sensors have a 10ft (3m) temperature probe cable and a wireless signal range of up to 40ft (12m). Sold as a package of ten.
CT-72 Long-Range Sensors have a 1ft (0.3m) temperature probe cable and a wireless signal range of up to 1,000ft (300m). Sold as a package of ten.
CT-73 Long-Range Sensors have a 10ft (3m) temperature probe cable and a wireless signal range of up to 1,000ft (300m). Sold as a package of ten.
SmartRock sensor data can be collected, viewed, and pushed to the Giatec 360™ cloud dashboard by using the SmartRock app onsite with a smartphone or tablet. Another method of accessing project data is through remote monitoring with the SmartHub™ Remote Monitoring System, purchased separately.
The SmartHub automatically collects SmartRock sensor data and uploads it to the Giatec 360 cloud dashboard, making it possible to access concrete temperature and strength data from anywhere on any device. SmartHub monitoring provides custom alerts and ultimately eliminates site visits. CTA-700 SmartHub connects with standard sensors, and CTA-701 SmartHub connects with long-range sensors.
