Dividing Head is used with the Fritsch Rotary Cone Sample Divider to separate material into chemically and physically identical subsamples. Dividing Heads are available with division ratios of 1:8, 1:10, and 1:30 and are made of stable polyoxymethylene (POM) plastic or aluminum. POM plastic heads are suitable for most routine work including metal-free sampling, while aluminum heads are suitable for materials and suspensions with abrasive properties. PTFE Coated Aluminum Dividing Head 1:30 is available for especially aggressive solids and suspensions.
Each Dividing Head is supplied with sample bottles and a 10mm diameter funnel. 1:30 heads are supplied with an additional 5mm funnel.
FTA-610 and FTA-611 have a division ratio of 1:8 and divide material into eight identical subsamples. Eight 500mL bottles and a 10mm diameter funnel are included. FTA-610 is made of POM plastic and FTA-611 is made of aluminum.
FTA-612 and FTA-613 have a division ratio of 1:10 and divide material into ten identical subsamples. Ten 250mL bottles and a 10mm diameter funnel are included. FTA-612 is made of POM plastic and FTA-613 is made of aluminum.
FTA-614 and FTA-615 have a division ratio of 1:30 and divide material into three identical subsamples. Three 15mL bottles, a 10mm diameter funnel, and an additional 5mm funnel are included. FTA-614 is made of POM plastic and FTA-615 is made of PTFE coated aluminum.
Additional Sample Bottles and Funnels can be purchased separately.
