Gilson Centrifuge Extractors

Gilson Explosion Proof Centrifuge Extractors deliver efficient and reliable quantitative determinations of bitumen content in hot-mix asphalt. All models feature rugged welded steel frames, simple and safe operation, and long service life.

The precision machined, balanced inner aluminum bowl assembly lifts easily from the sealed housing for quick specimen handling. Rotation speeds up to 3,600rpm are set using the speed control knob, and the built-in electric brake stops the centrifuge within seconds after extraction. The heavy-duty cast aluminum outer cover latches securely and includes an integral solvent dispensing cup.

Centrifuge Extractors are equipped with explosion-proof rated motors and safe transformers, enclosed in a rugged welded tubular steel frame. Models are available with 1,500g or 3,000g capacity and operate on a dual-rated 115V, 50Hz/60Hz motor.
