Marshall Stability Load Frames can be equipped with analog or digital component sets and fixtures to meet ASTM and AASHTO requirements for performing Marshall, Lottman, Tack Coat Shear, and SCB tests.
Marshall stability testing machines have a vertical clearance of 19.5in (495mm) and a horizontal clearance of 11.9in (302mm). Crosshead height is quickly and accurately changed using the adjusting nuts. The cabinet is constructed from 16-gauge steel with a durable enamel finish. The 1.25in (31.8mm) diameter vertical threaded rods are plated for corrosion resistance. The malleable boot protects the precision loading screw from dust and dirt. The Marshall Stability Load Frame includes an 8in (203mm) diameter lower platen.
MS-86 Marshall Stability Load Frame has a fixed 2in (50.8mm) per minute loading rate, 10,000lbf (44.5kN) capacity, and operates at 120V, 60Hz or 230V, 50Hz (MS-86F model).
MS-87 Marshall Stability Load Frame has a fixed 2in (50.8mm) per minute loading rate, 20,000lbf (89kN) capacity, and operates at 200-240V, 50/60Hz.
