Stock Solution

Stock Solution used for performing the Sand Equivalent Test. It is a concentrated calcium chloride, formaldehyde, and glycerin solution that is diluted with distilled water to create the working solution for conducting Sand Equivalent Tests.

To create the working solution, mix 85mL of solution for every gallon of distilled water. The concentrated stock solution has a limited shelf life of three months after the container is opened.

SEA-102 is an 8oz (237mL) bottle and is included in the Sand Equivalent Test Set

SEA-103 is a 1gal (3.8L) container.
